I was cleaning out my garage and found a copy of this children's book。 The premise of this classic Dr。 Seuss' books this is a wacky adventure fantasy book is 'what if。 。 。" It is quite funny as a little boy wakes up to a world turned upside down and every which way。 The illustrations are quite good。 I was cleaning out my garage and found a copy of this children's book。 The premise of this classic Dr。 Seuss' books this is a wacky adventure fantasy book is 'what if。 。 。" It is quite funny as a little boy wakes up to a world turned upside down and every which way。 The illustrations are quite good。 。。。more

Text-to Teaching Connection: I love this book! It was like that, my childhood favorite novel, trying to find something wacky around my house。   This book is about this kid who wakes up and learns it's all turned wacky! On his wall, there are shoes, alligators in strollers, and the sun is green。 I loved this book, and I will continue to love it all my life。 As a teacher, I would bring this book to life in my classroom! I would purposely place things wacky through the class。 Each student will draw Text-to Teaching Connection: I love this book! I remember absolutely loving this book as a kid and it's definitely best for older kids who can play the "I spy" game and figure out what's wacky in each picture。Reading time clocked in at 4:45, but I think in practice it will typically take longer if you actually try to find all the out of place things。 I remember absolutely loving this book as a kid and it's definitely best for older kids who can play the "I spy" game and figure out what's wacky in each picture。Reading time clocked in at 4:45, but I think in practice it will typically take longer if you actually try to find all the out of place things。 。。。more

Five stars because it's a book my kindergartener loves to look at and read over and over again。 Lots of possible extension activities too (make your own wacky picture or sentence, mix up things in a classroom or a house on a Wednesday and see if a child can find them, etc。) Five stars because it's a book my kindergartener loves to look at and read over and over again。 Lots of possible extension activities too (make your own wacky picture or sentence, mix up things in a classroom or a house on a Wednesday and see if a child can find them, etc。) 。。。more

I read this book to my son。 He loved it。 He loved trying to spot all the the wackey things on each page。 It was fun to do with him as I have never read the book before。 I think reading a book for the first time as a parent changes the way you see things。 Recommend。

Wacky Wednesday is a book because it encouraged my kids to find the wackiness on each page。 Much loved to have read to them, less well loved for me to read。

This book gives a fun and silly spin on showing kids what is considered normal and what is not considered normal。 It shows what things are considered "wacky"。 These "wacky" events occur at home, at school, and in nature。 It can definitely give children a good laugh when they need it。 This book is great to read to a child or for the child to read themself。 It is also quite engaging because the reader is meant to look for what is wrong or "wacky" throughout the book。 This book gives a fun and silly spin on showing kids what is considered normal and what is not considered normal。 It shows what things are considered "wacky"。 These "wacky" events occur at home, at school, and in nature。 It can definitely give children a good laugh when they need it。 This book is great to read to a child or for the child to read themself。 It is also quite engaging because the reader is meant to look for what is wrong or "wacky" throughout the book。 。。。more

This is a very cute rhyming book that helps teach children how to find items that do not belong in scenes。

Wacky Wednesday is a picturebook written by Dr。 Suess under the name Theo LeSieg for children who are elementary school aged。 In the book, the main character wakes up and finds that things are a little “wacky。” The mouse is chasing the cat, words are spelt wrong, and the planes are flying the wrong direction。 I rated this book 3/5 because of the enjoyable rhyming language and engaging illustrations。 Readers are expected to find all the “wacky” things that are happening on the page and as the boo Wacky Wednesday is a picturebook written by Dr。 Suess under the name Theo LeSieg for children who are elementary school aged。 In the book, the main character wakes up and finds that things are a little “wacky。” The mouse is chasing the cat, words are spelt wrong, and the planes are flying the wrong direction。 I rated this book 3/5 because of the enjoyable rhyming language and engaging illustrations。 Readers are expected to find all the “wacky” things that are happening on the page and as the book progresses, more “wacky” things are happening。 This book was originally written in 1974 and the illustrations reflect that, the pictures are vibrantly colored and depict scenes from the 70’s。 The language is perfect for beginning readers。 The rhyming reinforces the playful sound of the book。 This book was a favorite of mine growing up。 This book would be a good choice to read when children are allowed to be silly and should be read to a single kid or small group so they can get close enough to see the pictures and pick out the silly scenarios。 。。。more

I enjoyed reading the book "Wacky Wednesday" written by Dr。Suess。 I think one of the main reasons that I LOVED this book so much was because when I was little, I had a whole collection of Dr。 Suess books。 I liked everything about the book, the illustrations, colors and I also though it was a book that had a lot of laughs in it and think that children who read it would enjoy it a lot。 I enjoyed reading the book "Wacky Wednesday" written by Dr。Suess。 I think one of the main reasons that I LOVED this book so much was because when I was little, I had a whole collection of Dr。 Suess books。 I liked everything about the book, the illustrations, colors and I also though it was a book that had a lot of laughs in it and think that children who read it would enjoy it a lot。 。。。more

Another Dr。 Seuss original。 I am a die hard Dr。 Seuss fan。 This book teaches counting numbers 1-20。 It also gives children an opportunity to interact with the reader, they can identify "wacky" things in the book。 Another Dr。 Seuss original。 I am a die hard Dr。 Seuss fan。 This book teaches counting numbers 1-20。 It also gives children an opportunity to interact with the reader, they can identify "wacky" things in the book。 。。。more

Quite clever。 It’s a find the wacky things book with a bit more narrative than most search and find or eye spy books。

I like how it teaches counting from 1 to 20。 It is a silly and very funny way to introduce rote counting for children。 This book will keep the children entertained。 The only thing I disagree with in the book illustration is that there is a naked boy in the shower and they show his nakedness。 I think that is very inappropriate for young readers。 I think its inappropriate for anyone because no one should be seeing a little boy naked。 If it wasn't for this illustration the book would be good to rea I like how it teaches counting from 1 to 20。 It is a silly and very funny way to introduce rote counting for children。 This book will keep the children entertained。 The only thing I disagree with in the book illustration is that there is a naked boy in the shower and they show his nakedness。 I think that is very inappropriate for young readers。 I think its inappropriate for anyone because no one should be seeing a little boy naked。 If it wasn't for this illustration the book would be good to read to children。 。。。more
